As we all are aware that Cyclone freddy a powerful cyclone has hit the Southern part of Malawi and caused significant damage and many casualties as of 15/03/23
- 225 people killed
- 707 people injured
- Many more are homeless
MALAWI ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION (MOA) is mobilizing resources and will be on the ground to assist in the emergency and pressing needs for those injured by this cyclone.
Currently we are requesting our MOA members who retired and currently not working to give a lending hand to orthopaedic department at QECH
And further more request the public and well wishers to donate towards the resources like POP, bandages, IV fluids and any help to relief the burden pre-hospital and in-hospital.
